
Jason, a friend from Vermont, invited Joni and I to join him on a short photography jaunt. We went to a beautiful place near Glens Falls, New York. A canal runs along side the Hudson river. At one time, they used to put logs in the water and pulled them upstream by horses walking along a path. Today, you can walk along the path and see the canal on one side and the Hudson river on the other. The surrounding trees are a vibrant color in the fall, making it a very pleasant atmosphere and ideal for attempting to capture some pictures.
