Actually...
It was quite airy and fresh. The floors did creak though something FIERCE! The building used to be catacombs and the early Christians in this area were often forced to hide in the caves located on the level below. It was a tremendously cool building.
Musty smell
Did it have a musty smell to it? looks like it would and creaky floors...
