Freakishly Happy

After we had destroyed the porch in Vermont and built the kitchen extension and entryway, we spent some time taking photographs (posted already) and enjoyed apple picking (posted already). Because halloween was approaching we got into the spirit by carving up a couple of pumpkins. Also, because Halloween was approaching, we were getting excited to get back to Iowa for our friend Marcus's Halloween party.

We decided to drive through Canada on the way back and stop through Ann Arbor, Michican, to see a good friend of ours from Germany. After a brief but enjoyable visit we made it straight to Marcus's where in exchange for putting us up for a few days, we helped him with his party preparations.
